Muay Thai Classes

An intense and effective martial art, Muay Thai (also known as Thai Boxing) is the national sport of Thailand.  As opposed to Western Boxing, Muay Thai fighters strike with the hands, elbows, knees, and shins, which is why it is often referred to as the Art of Eight Limbs.  Muay Thai's dynamic striking techniques are what make it such a practical self-defense system.  It is also highly beneficial to those who are building a career in Mixed Martial Arts.

Muay Thai's origins go back centuries, but its benefits make it one of the most relevant martial arts today. Its intensity brings rapid results when it comes to technique, strength, weight-loss, as well improving concentration, self-confidence, and discipline. People of all genders and age groups are able to greatly improve their lives with Muay Thai practice.  Muay Thai classes involve shadowboxing, pad work, and technical drills, with jump rope and conditioning exercises interspersed throughout.
